In the village of Yenotaevka, Yenotaevsky District, Astrakhan Oblast, the Yenotaevsky Local History Museum was established by the governor's decree No. 196-pr dated 29.06.2006. The museum is a branch of the Astrakhan State United Historical and Architectural Museum-Reserve. The museum presents materials reflecting the history of the founding of the Yenotaevskaya fortress, the economic activities and everyday life of various social strata. The museum also displays documents that provide insight into the occupations of the population of the Cossack stanitsas and villages of the uyezd, as well as the service of the Yenotaevka Cossacks. A rich collection of photographs allows visitors to immerse themselves in the events of the first third of the 20th century. The museum hosts exhibitions reflecting the contemporary life of the district, as well as various events related to the cultural and social life of the village.
