Konstantin Vasilyev Art Gallery
About museum
The Konstantin Vasilyev Museum-Gallery was opened on October 29, 1996, at the initiative of the artist's close friends after his death in 1976. Initially it was located on Gvardeyskaya Street, and in 2012 premises were allocated on Baumana Street. The museum's collection features about 80 works of painting and graphic art from private collections. Most of Vasilyev's well-known works were also transferred here, including landscapes, portraits of prominent cultural figures, the "Starry Sky" series, etc. Today the museum represents the most complete collection of original works by Konstantin Vasilyev. It is devoted to his life and work and offers the opportunity to enjoy the art of this great artist.
