Historical and Local Lore Center 'Kultura' in the Nizhnetavdinsky District has existed for 22 years and during this time has done much to preserve, study and promote the district's historical and cultural heritage. Exhibitions, local history lessons, museum festivals and museum parlors are held here, and a historical-cultural and information-tourism center has also started operating. It is visited by more than 11,000 people a year, and the center's collection comprises almost 4,000 items. In addition, new exhibitions are regularly held and visitors are offered various programs for cultural family leisure. The center is located in a wooden building constructed in the last century, where until 1991 a branch of 'Agrobank' operated.
