Norilsk Art Gallery
About museum
The art gallery was opened in 1973 and is part of the museum and exhibition complex "Norilsk Museum." Its art collection contains more than 5,000 works representing various trends of Russian art of the second half of the 20th century. The core collection includes works by well-known artists Sergey Bazilev, Eduard Bragovsky, Aleksey Gritsai, Vasily Yefanov, Evgeny Kibric, Gely Korzhev, Leonard Turzhansky, Vasily Yakovlev, Petr Ossovsky, and Igor Obrosov. Special attention is paid to the work of Siberian artists, in particular Georgy Knyazhevsky, Nikolai Loy, Nikolai Sviridov, Emilia Goncharova, Boris Molchanov, and Motyumyaku Turdagin. The gallery regularly hosts cultural events and exhibitions.
