Rostokino Gallery
About museum
The Rostokino Exhibition Hall opened in 1986 and quickly became a respected venue for artists and a place for art lovers. From 2014 to 2021 the “Electromuseum,” dedicated to media art, operated here. Since 2022 the Rostokino Gallery has pursued a new direction — it will become a place where young artists, students and graduates of creative universities can showcase their work and gain their first exhibition experience. The gallery's goal is to introduce visitors to new names, young curators, and to engage leading educational institutions in collaboration. Plans include staging an exhibition of works by MSCA students and creating a multidisciplinary cultural, educational and leisure center with workshops for people of all ages, lectures and master classes by well-known artists, as well as theatrical and musical events for the whole family.
