Tyurins' House
About museum
Tyurins' House, built in the mid-19th century, belonged to a cousin of the poet I.S. Nikitin. In 2009 it became a structural subdivision of the Nikitin Museum. Here children can visit the play areas "At Robin Bobbin's" and "Marshak's Courier Train". In the "Marshak's Courier Train" area, children visit the towns from Marshak's tales, plays and poems. In the "At Robin Bobbin's" area visitors can explore a fairy-tale kingdom where they will meet well-known characters from English folklore. Various celebrations, games and workshops are also held here. The programs are intended for children aged 6 to 11 in groups of five or more.
