House-Museum of S. P. Kadyshev
About museum
A branch of the Shirinsky District Local History Museum named after D. S. Laletin, the S. P. Kadyshev House-Museum was established in 2002 and features the great Khakas storyteller's personal belongings, manuscripts, photographs and audio recordings. Visitors can learn about his life, work and multifaceted talent. In addition, every autumn creative festivals are held in the aul dedicated to the Days of Turkic Literacy in Khakassia and to the writer's birthday. Representatives of Khakassia's creative intelligentsia — actors, writers and scholars — also regularly visit. The house-museum was donated to S. P. Kadyshev's daughter, Anna Semenovna Torina, and has historical and cultural significance.
