About museum
The site houses a museum-recreational complex that reflects the historical characteristics of the area in the 17th–18th centuries, as well as the region's military, defensive, and economic activities. The exhibits include reconstructed examples of 17th-century defensive structures, as well as a small boundary barrow, a guard's hut, a coal pit, a directional signpost, a crooked bridge, upright posts (nadolby), a watchtower, a chastik, defensive forks (rogatki), an abatis (zaseka), an earthen tower, a timber-and-earth fort, gabions, a carpentry area, a smithy, a residential camp, a throwing range, an archery range, a fragment of an ostrog (stockade), and the Kozlovsky timber-and-earth fort. All objects are interactive and open to visitors, allowing not only the study of history but also immersion in the atmosphere of the distant past.
