\r\nThe Central Museum of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation is one of the largest museums of military history in the world. It was founded in December 1919 and is housed in 23 halls and an open-air area. The exhibition presents the history of Russia's armed forces from their inception to the present day. The collection contains more than 800,000 items, including the Banner of Victory, battle flags, awards, weaponry, paintings, graphics, photographs, documents, and more. The open-air display features 160 examples of combat equipment and weapons of the 20th century. In the museum you can see uniforms and equipment of the armies of Russia, the USSR, the Russian Federation and other countries. Here you can feel history and observe the lives and deeds of the heroes of the nation's military history.
