About museum
On June 22, 2007, a branch of the Surgut Local History Museum — the Center of Patriotic Heritage — was opened. The aim of the museum's patriotic exhibitions is to promote patriotism in society, as well as to instill in young people the values of civic consciousness, tolerance, and patriotism. The Center conducts research and educational activities aimed at preserving and restoring patriotic and cultural-historical heritage. The Center also holds events showcasing unique documents from various archives across Russia. Currently, the Center features the exhibition 'Frontline Friends'.
