Babaevsky Local History Museum named after M.V. Gorbunova

The Babaevo city museum has six exhibition halls dedicated to the history of the city's origin and development. They display items such as boxes and vases made from pine root, the outfit of a Veps bride, the oak table of merchant Gankovsky, the sideboard of machinist Bandinovich, a 'Fotokor' camera, German shoes from 1944, and a wartime phonograph. In addition, the museum hosts exhibitions of works by local artists and photographers, ethnographic items, pieces by contemporary craftsmen in embroidery and lace-making, and produce from private household plots and products made from it.
