Aurgazinsky Local History Museum
About museum
The museum of the Aurgazinsky district houses a collection comprising more than 1,500 items. It features ethnographic exhibits, WWII awards and other objects. They are arranged across four halls: 'Nature of the Aurgazinsky District', 'Ethnography', 'Military' and 'Contemporary'. The museum was founded in 1987 and was named the Museum of Revolutionary, Combat and Labor Glory. At that time the museum director was Klyavlin Zifnun Mirgaleevich, and the exhibitions were designed by the park artist Rezyapov Khalyaf Garipovich. The museum's main collection consists of 280 items that allow the study of the district's history.
