Aurgazinsky Museum of Local History
About museum
In the museum of the Aurgazinsky District there is a collection comprising more than 1,500 items. It features ethnographic exhibits, World War II awards and other objects. They are arranged across four halls: 'Nature of the Aurgazinsky District', 'Ethnography', 'Military' and 'Contemporary'. The museum was founded in 1987 and was named the Museum of Revolutionary, Military and Labor Glory. At that time the museum's director was Klyavlin Zifnun Mirgaleevich, and the exhibition design was done by the park artist Rezyapov Khalaf Garipovich. The museum's main collection consists of 280 items that allow the study of the district's history.
