About museum
Here you can see items that were found in the area around the city. The museum hosts themed events, including master classes on traditional crafts and other activities. The museum offers an immersion into the city's history and the past lives of its inhabitants. In May 2019 the museum was opened in the building of the Central Library. It presents the villages of Starye Kabany and Taktalachuk, and the life and daily routines of that time. Visitors can view many unique tools and household items, as well as objects used by the city's first builders. The second hall is dedicated to the Great Patriotic War (World War II): a story about how 700,000 residents of the Bashkir ASSR were called up to the fronts, and of them 138 returned home. The third hall is devoted to paleontology, where you can see items found in the area around the city. The museum also holds themed events, master classes and other activities that provide an immersion into the city's history and the past lives of its residents.
