Amursk City Local History Museum
About museum
The Amursk City Local History Museum provides the public with knowledge about the historical, cultural and natural heritage of the native region and city through various educational activities. These may include tours, museum lessons, lectures, exhibitions, as well as theatrical tours, master classes, bus and walking tours, and multimedia presentations. Interactive teaching methods are used in kindergartens and schools. The museum's holdings include 11,043 inventory units of primary storage, comprising 11 collections, including archaeological, ethnographic, everyday-life historical, numismatic, and documentary collections. The archival fund of the Russian Federation contains more than 5,000 documents. The museum is engaged in publishing activities, producing publications based on materials it preserves.

A collection of documents and combat awards, authored publications, and items made from natural materials by the traditional Nanai craftsman and storyteller, veteran of the Great Patriotic War (1941-1945) and first builder of Amursk Kile Pongs Konstantinovich - 200 inventory units. Collection of negatives and photographs 'The Beginning of Amursk. Late 1950s - mid-1960s.' Author I.V. Panin, professional photographer, Komsomolsk-on-Amur - 90 inventory units. Most interesting items of the holdings.
