About museum
Amursk City Local History Museum provides the public with knowledge about the historical, cultural and natural heritage of the native region and city through various educational activities. These may include guided tours, museum lessons, lectures, exhibitions, as well as theatrical tours, master classes, bus and walking tours, and multimedia presentations. Interactive teaching methods are used in kindergartens and schools. The museum's collections include 11,043 primary storage units, comprising 11 collections, including archaeological, ethnographic, historical-domestic, numismatic and documentary. The archival fonds of the Russian Federation contain over 5,000 documents. The museum engages in publishing activities, issuing materials held in its collections.
