🌞Cossack Maslenitsa at Borodino Field!🌞

The last month of winter is rapidly coming to an end — only two weeks separate us from one of the most joyful and delicious holidays!

On February 22 we invite you to the Borodino Field — to see off winter together and joyfully welcome spring!

Every year we hold a themed Maslenitsa, and this time you can expect a Cossack Maslenitsa.

The Cossacks cherished traditions and celebrated Orthodox holidays with great splendour. In old times they used to say: “On this day winter fights with spring — who should go forward, and who should step back.”

What awaits our guests?
• fun games and exciting contests
• strength and agility competitions
• demonstration performances by Cossacks: saber cutting and saber-flourishing
• a challenge for the bravest — retrieving a prize from the top of a pole
• assault on a snow fortress, where children can compete with their parents
• delicious blini (pancakes) and hot tea
• Cossack songs and folk arts and crafts

We will create a true festive atmosphere so we can see off winter together and happily welcome spring in Borodino!
And at the end of the celebration a surprise awaits — you’ve never seen anything like it!
