"That very first day of the war…"
On June 22 a Day of Remembrance and Sorrow will take place on Borodino Field — the day marking the beginning of the Great Patriotic War.
On June 22 at 4:00 AM a Candle of Memory will be lit at the monument to the 5th Army — the T-34 tank.
During the day, anyone who wishes can take part in the "Candle of Memory" event. To do so, you need to get a candle at the museum ticket office and light it at the monument to the 5th Army — the T-34 tank.
From 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM an interactive area will operate at the visitor center with a mini-exhibition of soldiers' uniforms and weapons from different eras, a game of gorodki, and puzzle assembly.
At 1:30 PM we invite you to the premiere of the guided tour route "...They Kept the Oath of Loyalty"
Friends, we invite everyone who wishes to join the commemorative events.
We must remember this most terrible and tragic day in our country's history and pass this memory on to future generations.
