Zuevsky District Local History Museum

About museum

The museum opened on November 30, 1979 as the Museum of Komsomol Glory on a voluntary basis. For many years the museum moved from one premises to another, and its existence and reorganization were debated. Only in January 1994 was the District History and Local Lore Museum opened. Until January 1, 2011 the museum was a branch of MUK MKS (Municipal Club System). Since 2011 the museum has been a legal entity. Today it is located in three rooms of the former School No. 38. The museum's exhibitions present peasant life, urban life of the 1950s–1960s, railway transport, and the Great Patriotic War. The museum runs a club for primary-school pupils called "Vyatskaya Kopilka".
