About museum

Kuznetsky Most is the oldest shopping street in the capital. Since the 18th century it has housed numerous grocery shops and stores selling fashionable French garments. Since 1992, the Exhibition Hall of the Moscow Union of Artists has been opened in the former Torletsky–Zakharyin revenue house. Since then exhibitions of Moscow artists have been held here continuously.

\r\nAmong the best-known art projects of the Moscow Union of Artists in recent years are the annual exhibitions 'Russian Province' (painting) and 'On the Eve of Christmas' (decorative and applied arts), poster competitions, the exhibition 'The Visible and the Invisible', the 'Small-Form Sculpture' and 'Still Life' exhibitions, numerous solo shows by People's Artists and Honored Artists, and others.
