Museum of History and Cultural Heritage of the Agryz District
About museum
The Agryz District History Museum was established on December 18, 1997. The idea originated in the 1980s with the former principal of Secondary School No. 76 — Valentin Ivanovich Repin. In 2011 a municipal cultural institution with branches was created. The museum's collections include works by amateur artists, bones of ancient animals, manuscripts and early printed books, an ethnographic collection, documents, photo documents, and more. The museum presents the history of the Agryz District as well as the Great Patriotic War. Exhibitions, events, and guided tours within the museum and around the city's sights are held here.
