Exhibition Hall of History and Local Lore of the Oktyabrsky District
About museum
In the 1960s, Ignatiy Voropaev, an Honored School Teacher of the RSFSR, founded the Exhibition Hall of History and Local Lore. He collected small items and documents and described the exhibits, constantly moving them from one location to another. In 1969 the museum was opened within the walls of the secondary school. But Ignatiy Fyodorovich did not live to see the museum obtain a permanent home. In 1983 his name was added to the honor roll at the obelisk. In 1995 the museum settled in the center of the village in a building constructed at the beginning of the 20th century by the merchant Milovanov. In 2013 it was given a new name — the Exhibition Hall of History and Local Lore of the Oktyabrsky District.
