Vorobyovsky Historical and Local History Complex
About museum
Vorobyovsky Historical and Local History Complex — a picturesque spot in the center of the village. Every resident of the Vorobyovsky district knows it. It is a place that houses socially significant facilities: a school, a sports and recreation center (FOC), a center for additional education, and the district children's library. The complex is complemented by halls reconstructed in 2016.
\r\n
\r\nThe location of the complex was chosen deliberately: it is the building of the district's first secondary school and the former site of the mobile field military hospital of the Voronezh Front in 1942–1943 — this is history.
\r\n
\r\nThe local history museum is filled with exhibits on paleontology and geochronology, and features exhibitions dedicated to the centenary of the Komsomol organization. There is a Hall of Military Glory, a hospital ward from the time of the Great Patriotic War, a 19th-century shop, a peasant izba (traditional rural house), a 19th-century tavern, and displays of Vorobyovka in the 1920s–1930s of the 20th century.

\r\nThe museum's collection numbers approximately 2,000 exhibits.
