Uysky Local History Museum
About museum
Uysky Local History Museum is the first rural museum in Chelyabinsk Oblast; it was established in 1922 on the basis of the Larinskaya village school under the direction of teacher Alexey Mironovich Krylov. On June 15, 1947, the Uysky District Executive Committee decided to open a district local history museum and appointed A. M. Krylov to head it. The museum has the following departments: prehistoric, agricultural, botanical and geological. The museum is currently located in the former House of Pioneers at 27 Balmasova Street.
