Uinsky Local History Museum named after M. E. Igoshev

In 2017 the Uinsky Local History Museum celebrated its 50th anniversary. This museum was founded by the local historian Mikhail Yefremovich Igoshev in 1967. The museum features the interior of a peasant hut, a nature hall and an exhibition hall. The museum's collection includes documentary and written sources on the history of the village and district, collections related to famous local residents, books, weapons, and an ethnographic collection. Large-scale festive events were held to mark the museum's 50th anniversary. Over this time the museum has been a place where one can learn many interesting facts about the ancient history of the region.
