Guslitsa Creative Estate
About museum
“Guslitsa” is not just a museum; it is an art residence, an international creative and educational center opened on September 29, 2012. Here you can find an extensive collection of contemporary art objects, an experimental theater, studios of resident artists, as well as a collection of audio recordings — recordings of performances and plays. The estate is a unique architectural site: it was formerly the Morozov manufactory of the 19th century, where the Petrushev brothers worked from 1887 to 1995. The grounds also house an analog recording studio that serves as a museum of unique recording equipment, musical instruments, and rare devices. Permanent exhibitions include works by Tatiana Punans, Andrey Kolosov, Katya Pugach, Ilya Trushevsky, Andrey Timofeev, Vladimir Solomatin, Timofey Karaffa-Korbut, Kirill Chelyushkin, Vladimir Dubossarsky, Arseny Zhilyaev, Mikhail Plokhotsky, Andrey Mitenyov, Konstantin Grouss, Denis Anufriev, Dmitry Shalevich, Vita Adlerberg, and Andrey Noskov.
