Turinsk Local History Museum
About museum
The museum is located in the house where, presumably, in the first half of the 1830s the Decembrist Stepan Mikhailovich Semenov lived in exile. Originally, from its founding in 1963 until the early 1970s, the people’s local history museum occupied a room in the district library named after Ivan Pushchin. It became part of the Sverdlovsk Regional Local History Museum in 1981.
