Talovsky District Historical and Local History Museum
About museum
\r\nThe museum was opened in 1992 in a building constructed in 1957 with unusual architecture. It was established thanks to the efforts of the district administration, industrial enterprises, and residents of Talovsky District. About 30,000 local history items are collected here, devoted to the history of settlement of the area, the people's culture, and the history of the district's development. The ethnographic hall displays exhibits of the tools and household items of the early settlers. The Hall of Military Glory is dedicated to the history of Talovsky District and its people during the years of the Great Patriotic War. The Nature and Reclamation of the Stony Steppe hall shows the transformation of nature across the district territory. Regular exhibitions on various themes are held in the museum's exhibition hall. Here you can see the history of Talovsky District and its people during the years of the Great Patriotic War, as well as become acquainted with the work of M. E. Pyatnitsky.
