About museum

In the space of the third tier of the Alexandrinsky Theatre there is a unique exhibition dedicated to the history of Russia's oldest dramatic troupe — the Museum of Russian Drama. In eight halls are displayed stage costumes, furniture and props created from the sketches of outstanding artists — Golovin, Bilibin, Altman and others. The exhibition is open to visitors before the start of the evening performance and during the intermission.
