About museum
\r\nShchyolkovo City Park of Culture and Recreation is a unique area located on two land plots on opposite banks of the Klyazma River. It was established in 1957 by decision of the Executive Committee of the Shchyolkovo Council of People's Deputies and was originally called 'Park named for the 40th Anniversary of the Great October.' The work collectives of the leading enterprises of the Shchyolkovo urban settlement actively participated in laying out and planting trees and shrubs, as well as in the maintenance and repair of the park. Thanks to their support, by 1980 the park had 13 attractions. In 2000 the park received a new name, and in 2009 a Children's Town with an area of 1.09 ha was incorporated into it. Today the park has the status of an autonomous municipal cultural institution, owns property and occupies an area of 20.45 ha.
