The Ramensky Historical and Art Museum was opened in 1929 in the Church of Saints Boris and Gleb and began forming its collection in 1918. In 2005 it moved to new premises on the third floor of a former factory dormitory and houses exhibits from the noble estates of Bronnitsy Uyezd. On display is a lifetime portrait of Peter I, a sundial and a telfer (electric hoist). The museum features five sections in its permanent exhibition and also hosts temporary exhibitions. The museum offers numerous cultural and educational programs aimed at studying the folk arts and crafts of Russia and the Moscow Region.
