Pestyakovsky Municipal Local History Museum
About museum
On October 27, 2008, the Pestyakovsky Municipal Local History Museum was opened; it was originally located in an old building built in 1895 that served as a two-class public education school. Since September 2021 the museum moved to a house that formerly belonged to the Pestyakov Hospital. It contains three exhibition halls — «Seni», «Russian Chamber» and «Merchant's Parlor» — as well as an exhibition hall. The displays feature artifacts that reconstruct the history of the Pestyakovsky region.
