It is recognized as one of the leading schools of doll art in Russia. In 2014 a new exhibition hall of the Perm Art Doll Gallery was opened in the city center. It features a museum display where visitors can learn about the history of dolls and toys, as well as an exhibition of contemporary art dolls showcasing works by leading doll artists.
