The museum presents the achievements and past of the town and district, and hosts exhibitions, concerts, lectures, history lessons and tours for schoolchildren and citizens. The museum has become a genuine attraction of Pavlovsky District. The Pavlovsky District Museum was opened on October 1, 1991 in the building of the Pavlovsk Children's School of Arts. In 2002 it moved to the former Lyashenko mansion, built in 1905. The museum's collection comprises 20,122 storage units, including photographs, sets of postcards with views of Russian cities and Kuban, breast emblems and badges, rare books, magazines and publications, applied art objects, coins, paper money, and vinyl records. The museum also houses collections of documents from war and labor veterans. Over 20 years the museum has become a true attraction of Pavlovsky District, hosting exhibitions, concerts, lectures, history lessons and tours for schoolchildren and residents. It allows us to learn about the town's and district's past, achievements and history.
