The G. V. Chernoskutov Exhibition Hall is a branch of the municipal institution "Volzhsky Museum and Exhibition Complex", which was opened in 1989. In 2008 it was renamed in honor of Honored Artist of the Russian Federation Gennady Chernoskutov, one of the founders of this venue. The exhibition hall began to attract creative and independent people alike — artists, musicians and poets — who want to showcase the beauty of the world and make it better. It hosts contemporary art exhibitions, workshops, meetings with artists, concerts and poetry evenings. The exhibition hall also offers visitors an art salon where works of art, antiques and souvenirs can be purchased.
