Nekouz Cultural and Ethnographic Center
About museum
In the Nekouz Cultural and Ethnographic Center exhibitions, concerts, literary evenings, workshops and other events are held. The Nekouz Cultural and Ethnographic Center continues the traditions of the district historical and local lore museum that operated from 1967 to 2018. It houses an extensive collection of materials that allow visitors to learn about people who made a significant contribution to the development of the region, as well as about the everyday life of the pre-revolutionary era, noble estates, and industrial and agricultural production. In 2019 the center moved to a new building where exhibition halls were equipped and it became possible to host new types of cultural events, such as exhibitions, concerts, literary evenings, workshops and others.
