Reutov Museum and Exhibition Center

About museum

On April 1, 2010 the municipal cultural institution "Museum and Exhibition Center" was established by merging the city local history museum and the city art gallery. It hosts various art exhibitions, art projects, festivals, concerts, master classes and meetings with artists to educate the city's residents. In 2011 three new exhibitions were opened: "Legends of Reutov", "Chronicle of the Great Patriotic War", "Industrial Reutov", "Merchant Life". A new exhibition "From History to the Present" was also created. On the 65th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War the museum was awarded an honorary diploma for implementing the social project "Memory of the War". The museum's collections are continually expanding thanks to new documents and exhibits related to the city's history.
