Museum of the Omsk Puppet Theater 'Arlekin'

On February 3, 2006, the 'Arlekin' theater museum was officially opened. The museum's collections are constantly being supplemented with various materials, including photographs, videos, posters, programs, brochures, director's notes, sketches, plays, books, feedback and reviews. At present, the museum's collection is not limited to works of the Omsk Puppet Theater: it includes works from theaters in various regions of Russia and other countries. The museum houses over 600 puppets. The museum hosts themed tours, interactive programs, exhibitions, competitions, presentations, etc. In 2019, the Museum of the Omsk Puppet Theater was the winner of the All-Russian competition in the 'Best On-site Theatre Museum' category. It continues to search for its creative identity and its place on the map of Russia's theatre museums.
