About museum

The family museum of traditional life offers visitors the chance to immerse themselves in the world of Russian culture. Here you can see a grandmother's spinning wheel and a grandfather's tools, authentic mittens and towels, patterned belts that are still made by hand, as well as dolls of various kinds. The museum hosts workshops, author-led tours, and various educational events. The museum was created as an alternative to modern pop culture, to introduce young people to national traditions and to instill love of the homeland. The museum also runs tours on military-patriotic and historical-military education so that the younger generation is not exposed to the influence of foreign ideology.
