Meetings with well-known people are held here, and celebrations and projects for children and youth are organized. The Museum on the Roof exhibition invites everyone to visit and enjoy views of Chelyabinsk's historical monuments. In spring 2009 the Museum on the Roof exhibition was created at the State Historical Museum of the Southern Urals. It is located on the roof of the East Tower and offers visitors a chance to enjoy a beautiful view of Chelyabinsk's historic district from a 600-square-meter platform. Here you can see exhibition panels with archival photographs, landscape sketches, maps and development plans. There is also a small gazebo where visitors can sit and relax. Various museum events, meetings with prominent people, celebrations and projects for children and youth are also held here. Everyone is invited to visit and enjoy the wonderful view of the city's historical monuments.
