Moscow Transport Museum
About museum
Moscow Transport Museum is a living public space that conducts research and addresses an important question: what moves the city? After all, it is constantly changing, and we change along with it. In 2024 the Moscow Transport Museum’s permanent exhibition will open in a unique building, a masterpiece of Constructivism — the Melnikov Garage at 27 Novoryazanskaya Street.
The Moscow Transport Museum holds the largest collection of historical urban vehicles. The museum’s holdings include over 250 exhibits — passenger and cargo cars, taxis, buses, trolleybuses, municipal service vehicles, the legendary “polutorkas” and “three-tonners”, as well as bicycle and motorcycle equipment.
