M.Kh. Gubaidullin Museum

About museum

In 1965, on the Hero's native land in the village of Urshakbashkaramaly in the Miyakinsky District of the Republic of Bashkortostan, the museum of Minigali Khabibullovich Gubaidullin was established. At first it functioned as a school museum, and then, from 1991 to 2006, it became a branch of the National Museum of the Republic of Bashkortostan. Currently it is the municipal museum of the Miyakinsky District of the Republic of Bashkortostan. It houses three halls: an exhibition hall, an ethnographic hall, and the Hero's hall. The first hosts exhibitions from the museum's own collections and from other museums' collections; the second displays the daily life of the village's residents at the beginning of the 20th century; and the third contains exhibits dedicated to the life and immortal feat of Minigali Gubaidullin. The museum serves as a center for the patriotic education of the younger generation.
