V. N. Pluchek's Apartment Museum
About museum
In 2009, on the centenary of the renowned director Valentin Pluchek, the Museum of the People's Artist of the USSR was opened. It is located in the building at the intersection of Bolshaya and Malaya Bronnaya Streets in apartment 47, where Pluchek lived for 30 years. Here you can see antique furniture, porcelain, crystal chandeliers, massive bronze lamps and works of painting and graphic art donated by Tyshler, Falk, Chagall, Léger, and Picasso. Also on display are sketches by V. Levental and the costumes of Andrey Mironov and Anatoly Papanov, stage models and photo albums. All of this offers an opportunity to get acquainted with Valentin Pluchek's productions, which have been recorded in the history of Russian theatrical art.
