About museum

The UVD Museum is an expression of the creative potential of individuals and various units of the Department of Internal Affairs. It contains copies of archival documents, original medals and weapons, photographs, documents, uniforms, orders and medals that represent the history of the militsiya (police) from 1917 onward. Every visitor can find something interesting: young people are drawn to the weapons, and there are exhibits on special forces, Chechnya, and the modern police. One of the most interesting exhibitions is dedicated to the Great Patriotic War.
