About museum
The Municipal Budgetary Cultural Institution of Rybinsky District, Krasnoyarsk Krai — the Rybinsky District History Museum — was established on April 1, 2003, based on the local history museum of Rybinsk Secondary General Education School No. 7 and the museum of the Rybinsky Agricultural Technical School. In its House of Culture building it has two exhibition halls and a conference hall, as well as two exhibition rooms acquired as a result of reconstruction in 2012. By the end of 2021 the museum's collection totaled 7,844 items, and it attracts more than 6,000 visitors annually. The museum offers guided tours, museum lessons, master classes, creative exhibitions by district residents, meetings, thematic exhibitions of regional museums, as well as grant programs and competitions. Recently the museum has been transforming into a center for creative interaction, development and leisure, as well as into a consultative, methodological and project center where services are provided free of charge.
