Siberian Manor named after N. A. Lampsakova
About museum
In 2008, the cultural and tourist complex 'Siberian Manor of N. A. Lampsakova' was established on the site of the former Novo-Kuskovo hospital. It has a complicated history and an interesting past, which includes museums of the Civil War, the Zemstvo Doctor, the Birch Bark Museum and an open-air museum. The complex includes a general store, a carpentry workshop and a "babya dolya" (a traditional women's dwelling). It is located on the high bank of the Sokoly River and covers an area of more than three hectares. The site features a rich variety of coniferous tree species, and guided walks along the ecological trail allow visitors to learn about the local plants and animals. The complex receives approximately 8,000 visitors each year — from schoolchildren to foreign tourists.
