Mytishchi Art Gallery

In 2003, the artists of the city of Mytishchi received support from the administration of the Mytishchi District and were provided with a building to create an art gallery. To carry out reconstruction works, premises in the District Palace of Culture and Leisure 'Yauza' were temporarily provided. The collection was formed through donations from artists, their relatives, support from patrons and the administration of the Mytishchi District. On September 6, 2007, the Mytishchi Art Gallery was opened with an area of 500 sq. m. Temporary exhibitions of professional painters, sculptors and photographers are held here. The gallery's collection includes works by People's Artists of the USSR and the Russian Federation, Honored Artists of the Russian Federation and others. Since 2012, a photographic collection has been formed.
