About museum

The Museum of History of Derzhavin University is the university's calling card; the university was established in 2006. It preserves and studies the institution's history and promotes the development of traditions and the university environment. The museum has three exhibition halls. The first hall is devoted to the activities of pedagogical institutions from the pre-revolutionary period, as well as to the various stages of the institution's development from 1918 to the 1960s. The second hall presents the university's achievements, the work of all faculties, scientific research, and student internships. The third hall tells about the life of Derzhavin University, its educational, scientific, and social-educational activities, interregional cooperation and international relations, as well as the development of its structural units and the training of qualified specialists for various sectors of Russia's national economy.
