The Khlynov Museum covers the period from the city's founding up to 1780. It offers visitors an interactive journey through the city's history using modern technical means. The museum has three halls, each reflecting a distinct era. Highlights include a model of the Khlynov Kremlin, icon panels, and a full-wall diorama. Also on display are a model of an ushkuya (river vessel), a replica of a medieval cannon, bows, axes, arrows, swords, and spears. In the folk crafts hall, master classes in ancient arts are held. Temporary exhibitions feature historical artifacts donated by archaeologists. Visitors can immerse themselves in the atmosphere of the ancient city and feel the spirit of a bygone era. The museum displays unique exhibits, works by contemporary craftsmen, and artifacts provided by archaeologists. In this way, the museum offers the opportunity to fully immerse oneself in the history of Khlynov.
