About museum

In 1988, Professor K. I. Korepanov of the Elabuga Institute brought an archaeological museum to the town of Yelabuga, which to this day remains one of the town's most interesting places. The museum displays finds from various periods of Tatarstan's history, such as the Stone Age, the Paleometal Age, Sumer, the Early Iron Age, Volga Bulgaria, the Ulus of Jochi and the Kazan Khanate, Kirmen and Alabuga. The museum offers tours for schoolchildren, students and prospective students.
