About museum

The Museum of Archaeology and Ethnography was established in 2004 and has accumulated collections as a result of archaeological and ethnographic expeditions conducted in Central Siberia and adjacent areas. The exhibition hall presents the most interesting exhibits demonstrating the development of the material and spiritual culture of Siberian peoples from the Paleolithic to the present day. The museum hosts various events aimed at learning about the region's history and culture: guided tours, seminars, and classes. The primary audience is schoolchildren and students of Krasnoyarsk and Krasnoyarsk Krai. In addition, the museum's collections attract attention not only from domestic but also from foreign researchers from various countries.
