About museum
In 1973, under the leadership of A. N. Kott, head of the fire protection unit, a fire-technical exhibition was established at the Vologda Regional Fire Department. Visitors came not only from Vologda but also from countries such as Sweden, Cuba, Finland and the United States. The hall was rebuilt in 2017, and in 2019 an interactive hall showcasing rare firefighting equipment was opened. During its operation, the hall has been visited by more than 250,000 people. It hosts guided tours, meetings, conferences, personnel training, and children's drawing exhibitions. The Center for Fire Prevention Education and Public Relations receives letters of appreciation from visitors.
